The Story of the Son Rise Morning Show


It began simply enough on September 4, 2007, with two hours of locally produced Catholic programming each weekday morning for tri-state Catholics.  Opening each hour in prayer, incorporating the daily Mass readings, honoring the saints, and conducting informative interviews, we tried to create a program that would help the listeners of Cincinnati's Sacred Heart Radio start their day a better way.  Five years later, that program, which has been supported through your prayers and donations, is now helping listeners in more than 200 cities across the U.S, as well as around the world, begin their day with a Catholic perspective on a spectrum of issues that we face on a daily basis.

What is the difference between a donor and an underwriter? They are one and the same. Both provide the funds to broadcast the Catholic programs on Sacred Heart Radio, but underwriters also give us the additional dimension of a "go to list" of businesses that share our Catholic values.
